Dr. Steven Parkhurst has operated his chiropractic business on Cloquet Avenue since 1975. It wasn’t until he was well into adulthood that he discovered his great-, great-, great-grandfather held an esteemed place in Minnesota history by being one of the first white men to identify the true source of the Mississippi River and help name it.
