Attorney Bill Helwig explains the existance of two conditional use permits for sanitary landfills on or near the site proposed by DemCon/Shamrock for a new industrial landfill. Conditional use permits don't expire, they run with the land. However, DemCon/Shamrock and the city agreed that the new permit (which was passed) will supercede the old permits.
