thermal camera

Using a thermal camera, energy auditor Karl Rosenau shows the temperature variations on the walls and windows in Bill Mulek’s home. The color gradient along the right side of the camera display shows what each color means, with red areas being the warmest and blue to purple being the coldest. The colors are relative to each other, not equivalent to certain temperatures, although the camera does also read temperatures. Jana Peterson/jpeterson@pinejournal.com
