Law enforcement officers found nearly 1,000 marijuana plants between homes in Barnum Township, Proctor and Fredenberg Township in a 48-hour time frame late last week. It was the largest combined marijuana bust ever in the Duluth and Carlton County areas. The home at 3757 County Road 11 in Barnum Township (at right) was reportedly filled with marijuana plants, equipment and pounds of the processed drug.
