Polly was one of my classmates all through school. We were the two Paulines in our class, so they always separated us at Garfield Elementary. Her mother was a classmate and friend of my mother, too. Polly was one of the most joyful people I have ever known. She always, always had a smile and a laugh for everyone. I have nothing but happy memories of her.
