County's largest settlement heads back to courtroom

The largest settlement ever to be handed down in Carlton County Court has gone back to the drawing board and may lead to new legal ground being covered. In 2005, Carlton County District Court Judge Dale Wolf overruled the decision handed down by a jury regarding an allegedly “defamatory” remark made by Moose Lake resident Robin Schoenrock against former Moose Lake police officer Patrick Longbehn.
