Rebels drown Mariners 83-12

Moose Lake-Willow River put a blanket defense over the top of the Silver Bay Mariners on Friday and the Rebels went on to an easy 83-12 win in girls basketball. The Rebels cleared the bench in the second half and 11 different players got on the scoreboard with Destany Nummela and Hillary Peterson leading the charge with 13 points each and Candy Stepan tossing in 12 points. Allie Adamczak added nine, Natasha Dragiecavich and Karley Rentz both finished with eight, Sam Bennett and Caitlin Jusczak each scored six, Amanda Larson recorded four, and it was two apiece for Kathryn Coil and Rachel Mach.
