Local gals trim their hair for a good cause

Sometimes, nothing is more precious to young girls than their long, flowing hair. But for sisters Rachael and Rylie Platt of Saginaw, helping others was much more important to them. The Platt sisters recently donated 12 inches (each!) of their sandy-blonde hair to “Locks of Love.” Initially, their mom, Sara, brought up the idea of donating their hair but wasn’t sure what their reaction would be.
