Exhibitor to speak on 'Why treaties matter' in Cloquet

Tom Ross, a member of the Upper Sioux Community and consultant for the Minnesota Humanities Center, will present a program for the last Carlton County Historical Society Wednesday noontime bag lunch program Wednesday, Dec. 12. Ross will discuss the Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibit “Why Treaties Matter: Self-Government in the Dakota and Ojibwe Nations” currently on view at the museum, which he helped put together.
