Veterans encouraged to be aware of scam email offers

According to Carlton County Veterans Service Officer Duane Brownie, the VFW has been made aware of scam emails that appear to come from a Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) employee and displays a “.mil” address, but it is actually from a non-government email account.
