Review: New Northrup book offers humor, history and a different perspective

Perhaps the only thing better than reading Jim Northrup’s work is hearing him in person. Beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 at the Fond du Lac Community Center, 1720 Big Lake Road in Cloquet, Northrup will read from his new book, “Anishinaabe Syndicated: A View From the Rez.” The reading will be followed by a book signing.
