‘George Jones’ to appear at Folks Festival

ukkala will sing along with “Country Junction” from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at TJ’s Country Corner in Mahtowa to open the annual Mahtowa Highway 61 Folks Festival weekend. In addition, TJ’s famous wurst and Salem Lutheran Church’s annual pie sale will be there to satisfy hungry music lovers. Beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, the bluegrass band, “One Fast Move,” will play at Rob’s Mahtowa Tavern.
