Besides if there were less deer people would actually have to "hunt" not give a five yr old a gun and say shoot that one eating the apples : ) Big business for minnesota..there not going anywhere so keep your eyes peeled on the road! just who is in charge of picking up all this roadkill?...maybe its a reminder to be on the lookout.

I think it is time for the DNR to stop the feeding of birds and deer. This is creating a problem with creatures that feed on them coming in closer to cities. When a car hits a deer there should be a investagation on who is feeding in the area and those folks will have to share the cost of the deductable. Wild life has it's own balance and does not need humans. So wolves moving closer to feed on road kills, wounded deer. and we see them as the problem rather than the feeder. Brush wolves and fox feed on the mice and other small creatures that feed on the seeds people put out. I'm guilty of this practice and will make a agreement to stop it because I can see the ripple effect.

Dan is right...Less deer would be great. You cant drive to work in the morning or coming home in the evening without slamming on the brakes to avoid hitting a deer. I have never seen so many deer.

The only reason it's news is that it is rare event, so all you red necks relax, this means nothing. I wish we had more wolves and less deer. Just two weeks ago a deer chashed into my car. Never had a wolf do that! How many people have been attacked by your pit bulls?
