How about bread and water. Pile them up in a cell, and forget the TV'S, Games, Gym's, and everthing else that makes their stay at these facilities like an all inclusive hotel. They put themselves there because of their disgusting choices. Maybe the state should look at healtcare and everyone who is losing their homes, not because they aren't working or trying but because the economy is tuff right now. Their are other needs that should come first and the needs of inmates should not even be an option. If prisons are full, then oh well. Like I said, PILE THEM UP...

I thin the last time I checked, Prison was supposed to take away your freedom... why shoud they even get to watch TV? Give them a half hour at 6pm to watch the news and that's it... or even better make them read the news paper... Prison should be punishment, but in the state of MN it seems like a day at the spa for these criminals! Waste of time and OUR money!

Ya Pat it is hard to feed people without a kitchen...what do you think they've been using, a campfire? Walk into just about any school district and look at their kitchen equipment and see what age it is. These inmates have better facilities than most of our school children. Kinda makes you think....

They almost lost this facility..then the Big screen t.v scandal, now there going to expand a state of the art kitchen and meeting rooms for only a measly 60 some million? why do we need to treat low life sexual predators with a state of the art project costing taxpayers millions of dollars and then cut off health care to the people that need it most. With the economy the way it is these "pet" projects seem to find money..I think a state of the art kitchen could wait until the state figures out the many programs that actually help people who arent...criminals! You can claim these people need rehabilitation but a kitchen isnt going to help but fatten them up.WHAT A WASTE!
