Popular local entertainer Lorren Lindevig of Cloquet will be among five people and one group to be inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in November.
Lindevig, along with the others, will be presented at the Hall’s banquet and induction ceremony on Friday, Nov. 1, at Turner Hall in New Ulm, Minn.

A 2013 Inductee Showcase will be open to the public on Saturday, Nov. 2. The Showcase is free of charge and features this year’s inductees’ life histories with pictures and memorabilia. There will also be entertainment and refreshments from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Since 1989, the group has inducted 143 people or organizations into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame.
Lindevig has long been a familiar face in Carlton County and surrounding areas, performing regularly at many local events, playing solo as well as with such notables as Florian Chmielewski and his band.
Others being inducted this year into the Hall of Fame are Mary Jane Alm of Eden Prairie, Leon Olsen of New Ulm, the St. Olaf Choir, Leo Kottke of Eden Prairie and Dennis Spears of the Twin Cities.
