MCA test results are out. Our math scores have increased again this year. This was the first year of online testing for reading. Our test results for this new test are down from last year, as is the case with the state average. Esko students tested remain above state averages.
High School - Greg Hexum
Mr. Hexum reported on the State Assessment conference that he attended this summer.
MCA results were reviewed. Like the elementary, the reading results were down due to the new tests, but continue to be 10 to 15 percent above state averages.
Board Committee Reports:
Margaret Sunnarborg - Construction meetings and town board meeting.
Julian Bertogliat - Construction meetings.
Supt. Fischer updated on the progress at the North Field. The press box is up. All of the green turf should be on the field by tomorrow and then the lettering and numbers will be cut in. There is another layer of tar that needs to be laid on the track and that will have to cure. The path should be in by our homecoming football game. The building seems to be on schedule.
Congratulations and Commendations
Bill Pera and his custodial staff for the excellent work in getting the building ready for the school year.
Phy Ed and Health department for offering CPR training and first aid courses in the 9th grade.
