Lake Country Power members in the Saginaw area will be without power starting 9 a.m., Wednesday, June 26.
The outage will last two hours and will affect Lake Country Power members near the southern edge of Northland Township, the east side of Meadowlands Township, east of Highway 5 in Ness Township, Alborn Township, New Independence Township, the northern parts of Culver Township, Industrial Township, west of Highway 7 in Grand Lake Township, Breavator Township, the northwest part of Solway Township, Thomson Township and areas near Scanlon and Cloquet.
Power for the 1,726 members affected by the outage is expected to be restored by approximately 11 a.m.
The planned outage is necessary for crews to perform maintenance on the Grand Lake Substation.
