Korbyn Danielson, a 2013 graduate of Esko High School, is the recipient of a 2013 Moose International R. Robert Dale Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Scholarship winners must be the child or grandchild or under the legal guardianship of a member of the Moose fraternal organization and must carry at least a 2.5 accumulated grade point average. Since 1986, the Moose fraternity has awarded 1,414 scholarships in excess of $1.4 million to qualifying students associated with Moose lodges and chapters across North America.
Kelsey Wickstrom of Barnum is one of 16 recipients of a $1,000 scholarship grant from the International Union of Operating Engineers (IOUE) Local 49. Wickstrom, a 2013 graduate of Barnum, is the daughter of Kristi and Jamie Wickstrom, who has been a member of Local 49 since 1993.
Kendra Anastasia Pallin of Cloquet is one of 42 distinguished Minnesota high school students honored at the Scholars of Distinction award program in the areas of Science, STEM, Mathematics, Social Studies, Leadership and Theater Arts in May. To earn this recognition, a student must complete required work in Minnesota’s academic standards, demonstrate mastery of complex subject matter, and apply their knowledge and skills on challenging projects.
