There will be a Spaghetti Supper Benefit for Shirley Lund on Saturday, May 18, from 5-9 p.m. at the Barnum Fairgrounds. Two and a half years ago Shirley was diagnosed with multiple systems atrophy (MSA) and Lyme disease. Certain parts of her body have been affected. Through diet, exercise, therapies and very strong antibiotics, she can get her life back again. It is Shirley’s goal to be back in the saddle and be able to help teach people to learn good horsemanship skills again. With your help and support we can help her achieve her goal. Shirley has pursued multiple medical and alternative paths of healing which continue to incur expenses. As a community we graciously ask for your support for Terry and Shirley. Thank you! If you are not able to attend and would like to contribute, checks can be made out to “Shirley Lund Benefit” and brought in or mailed to: First National Bank of Moose Lake, 400 Elm St., Moose Lake, MN 55767. If you would like to donate to the silent auction, contact Julie Klejeski at 218-389-6688, Julie Bogenholm at 218-340-4099, or Julie Tillman at 218-390-6263.
