CITY OF CLOQUET NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - Pioneer Recovery Center

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that there will be a public hearing to consider a Conditional Use Permit for Pioneer Recovery Center, Aurora, Minnesota. The conditional use permit they are proposing is to allow multiple family housing in the Regional (Highway) Commercial District.

An application has been received from Pioneer Recovery Center pursuant to Section 17.2.10 of the City Code. The property is located at 241 Highway 33 North (PIN 06-740-0020 and 06-740-0040) and is legally described as follows:

Lots 1 and 2, Salos Subdivision, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the county recorder In and For Carlton County, Minnesota EXCEPT THAT PART THEREOF which lies Southeasterly of a line run parallel with and distant 100 feet Northwesterly of Line 1 described below:

Line 1: Continuing at the West quarter corner of Section 11, Township 49, Range 17, thence run Easterly on an azimuth of 89 degrees 55 minutes 01 second along the east and west quarter line of said Section 11 for 2568.87 feet; thence on an azimuth of 00 degrees 57 minutes 02 seconds for 100 feet; thence deflect to the right on a tangential curve having a radius of 2083.48 feet and a delta angle of 38 degrees 17 minutes 51 seconds for 1392.64 feet and there terminating.

The hearing will be conducted by the Cloquet Planning Commission at its regular March meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Cloquet City Hall, 1307 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet, Minnesota. Persons wishing to comment on the proposal may do so in person at the hearing or in writing by addressing their comments to the Community Development Department, 1307 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet, prior to the hearing.
