Robert Willard Peterson

Robert Willard Peterson, 86, of Carlton, Minn., passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Sunnyside Health Care Center in Cloquet, Minn. He was born Nov. 30, 1926, in Malmo, Minn., to John and Emma (Fogerstrom) Peterson. Robert had worked as a carpenter and millwright with the Carpenters Union Local for Ray Riihilouma Construction and for Boldt Construction.

Robert is survived by his wife, Marcella; one son, Jerry (Barb) Peterson; one daughter, Christine (Craig) McNeil; three grandchildren, Robbie (Jessica) Swanson, Matthew Peterson and Andrea Peterson; and one great-granddaughter, Jordis.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 5, from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 204 Fifth St. N., Carlton.
