Wright - Cromwell News 01.24.13

It seems that when folks get together they usually get around to talking about the weather. This happens on long distance phone calls, when emailing each other, or just a brief visit in passing. Well, this week we really had something to talk about. With temps in the minus-20s, even schools were closed or running two hours late. Luckily, many area schools were already closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, so we didn’t miss that day due to extreme cold temperatures. Let’s hope that we can get through this cold spell with very few problems.

Another longtime resident of Cromwell died this past week. Our sincere sympathy to the family of Edward (Ed) Johnson, 83, of Cromwell who died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, in Villa Vista Care Center.
