Sandra Lee Merrill, 46, of Cloquet, Minn., died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in her home with her loving family by her side. She was born Jan. 31, 1966, in Cloquet to Adolph and Esther Fagre. Sandy grew up in Saginaw, Minn., and attended Alborn Grade School and AlBrook High School. From 1994 until 1999 she worked at the Cloquet Little Store. Sandy enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and spending time loving her two dogs, Bucky and Serra.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Fagre; and brothers, Arlan, Alan and Dennis Fagre.
She is survived by her life partner, Brian Nagurski of Cloquet; two sons, Nathan (Sara) Merrill of Staples, Minn., and Nicholas Laubach of Cloquet; brother, Donald Fagre of Cloquet; sisters, DeAnna Bodas of Virginia, Cindy Fagre of Las Vegas, and Judy Johnson of Barnum, Minn.; and two grandsons, Lucas and Matthew Merrill.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 15, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St., Cloquet. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Culver, Minn.
