The following students were named to the dean’s list for academic achievement during the 2012 fall semester at North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D.: Malyssa Brady of Cloquet, majoring in nursing; Mathew Kayser of Cloquet, majoring in chemistry; Katie Schulz of Cloquet, majoring in interior design; Bethany Johnson of Esko, majoring in dietetics; Katlyn Nap of Esko, majoring in emergency management; Crystal Wilson of Esko, majoring in veterinary technology; and Amanda Bisel of Wrenshall, majoring in pharmaceutical sciences.

The TRIO Student Support Services program at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College and the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Foundation announce fall semester 2012 scholarships have been awarded to the following FDLTCC students: Benjamin Alexander II of Wrenshall, Brandon Castellano of Cloquet, Erin Collins of Two Harbors, Briana DeFoe of Cloquet, Bettina Johnsen of Cloquet, Melanie Rae Johnson of Cromwell, Julie Jones of Floodwood, Darlene Kowalik of Duluth, Aasta Lewis of Cloquet and Lanikka Pendelton of Duluth. The students are selected for their level of achievements, personal accomplishments, and participation in campus-sponsored activities. The Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College TRIO Student Support Services Scholarships have been awarded each semester since spring 2000. Funds to support the scholarships are raised through the efforts of students, staff and the college Foundation. The TRIO Student Support Services program at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College annually serves 175 students who attend FDLTCC. Scholarship recipients are selected through a competitive process.
