To the editor - County business park expenses: taxpayers’ money
By: Jim Prusak, Pine Journal
To the Editor:
As a long time public employee, I am dismayed if not insulted when other public officials say something like not one dime of county money has been spent on the county’s proposed business park to be located in Hooterville [of Green Acres fame, where the grass is always greener]. The fact of the matter is that every penny that has been spent so far belongs to the taxpayers of Carlton County. As a public servant, whether elected or appointed, you are entrusted to spend all of it wisely.
