SPECIAL MEETING

TUESDAY - SEPTEMBER 25, 2012

The Wrenshall Board of Education's Special meeting was called to order at 6:06 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2012 by Chair Powers.

Board members in attendance were Janaki Fisher-Merritt, Deb Bryce, Matt Laveau Shane Kuhlmey and Troy Powers. Also in attendance were Superintendent Belcastro, Principal Sue Frank and Board secretary Candy Christensen along with a community member. Board member Renae House was absent.

No additions or corrections to the agenda.

MOTION by Fisher-Merritt; seconded by Bryce to approve the agenda. Motion carried.

Discussion regarding the Head Custodian position. Superintendent Belcastro provided three different job descriptions along with the 2010-2012 Contract for Jeff Menze, for the board members review. These job descriptions included Mr. Menze's current job description along with two others focusing on transportation supervisor and vehicle mechanic positions. The goal is to combine the three job descriptions to conform to the duties and responsibilities of Mr. Menze. When this is complete, Mr. Menze's contract will be renewed.

MOTION by Powers; seconded by Kuhlmey to adjourn meeting at 7:57 p.m. Motion carried.
