COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING

WEDNESDAY - JULY 11, 2012

The Wrenshall Board of Education's Committee of the Whole meeting was held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

Discussion regarding Business Manger's Contract revisions.

Job descriptions for Superintendent, Business Manager, Principal, Head Custodian and Superintendent's secretary are being updated. Upon completion there will be an evaluation completed on each position.

Discussion regarding unsettled contracts for AFSCME, Principal, Head Custodian and CE Director. Discussion included negotiation dates and teams.

Discussion regarding 2012/2013 bids. Next year requests for school photographs and bus repairs will also be requested.

Discussion regarding Employee Health Insurance, Dental Insurance and District Life and LTD Insurance renewals. The only plan with an increase in premium amount is Dental Insurance.

There is a meeting scheduled with the Health & Safety representative tomorrow. Ideas will be discussed regarding the use of funds.

There will be a meeting with Board Member's and Superintendent Belcastro on Monday, June 23, 2012 with Ehlers and Associates to discuss the upcoming referendum.

Discussion regarding Staff Development of employees.

Discussion regarding the 2012/2013 budget.

Discussion regarding Action Items for the July 16, 2012 meeting.

Other discussions included:

-Posting for upcoming election for Board Members.

-Posting for coaching positions.
