To the Editor:
I have known Commissioner Dick Brenner for over 30 years. You get to know someone well as you work on projects for our area with him. I have watched him over the years on the County Board consistently promote growth in jobs and quality of life for all Carlton County residents.
Reflecting his years of experience working for Potlatch, Dick knows the hard questions to ask when considering budget issues and keeping the local property tax levy as low as possible in these challenging times. He is progressive yet looks to new opportunities to provide county services efficiently. Dick has made many difficult decisions while on the Board, but he has never lost his belief that he is your voice for your concerns and needs.
I am a member of the 11A DFL Legislative Central Committee and was proud to vote to support Dick Brenner for another term as Carlton County Commissioner. With Dick you don’t get political promises – you get results.
