Beatrice Elinor (Ehrman) Johnson

Beatrice E. Johnson, 87, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Sunnyside Health Care Center, Cloquet. She was born April 6, 1925, in Scanlon, Minn., to Ernest and Lillian (Schilling) Ehrman and graduated from Cloquet High School in 1943. Beatrice was a lifelong Cloquet resident and a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the Hebert-Kennedy VFW Post 3979 Auxiliary. She loved spending time at the family cabin at Prairie Lake which they had for over 22 years.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward M. Johnson; one sister, Virginia Ahiers; one great-grandson, Samuel E. Olson; and an infant brother, Ernest Ehrman.

She is survived by two daughters, Beth (Dean) Terp of Cloquet and Jill (Leland) Carlson of McGregor, Minn.; five grandchildren, Curt (Marcy) Carlson, Chris (Kari Ulland) Carlson, Cory (Joy) Carlson, Shad (Jennifer) Olson and Kasey (Jaime) Olson; nine great-grandchildren, Emily, Peter, Chloe, Patrick, Shawn, Kenley, Jessica, Jason and Denver; three great-great-grandchildren, Jasper, Abigail and Aydin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 19, from 5-7 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Care, 1004 Cloquet Ave., Cloquet, with a VFW Auxiliary service at 6:45 p.m. followed by a wake service at 7 p.m. The visitation will resume Saturday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Cloquet. Interment service will be at New Calvary Cemetery, followed by a luncheon in the church social hall.
