‘Learn About 4-H’ night set for Oct. 15

Have you ever wondered what 4-H is? 4-H is learning new skills, developing leadership, increasing community involvement and having fun. If you would like to know more about 4-H, the Carlton County 4-H staff and youth are hosting “Learn About 4-H” night on Monday, Oct. 15, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Carlton County Transportation Building, 1630 County Road 61, Carlton. Several 4-H youth will be available to handout 4-H information, explain 4-H projects, and talk about their 4-H experiences.
Carlton County 4-H, a program of the University of Minnesota Extension, is open to all youth from kindergarten to one year past grade 12. 4-H clubs and events are led by adult and youth volunteers. There are over 50 projects to sign up for in 4-H from learning about raising animals to shooting sports to youth leadership. Stop by to learn more about the opportunities 4-H has to offer.
