While walk-in donors are always welcome, appointments can be made in advance. To register for the blood drive, go online to www.MBC.org or contact the sponsoring organization.

Blood Drives will be held at the following times:

- Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Barnum High School (contact Sandi Bird)

- Thursday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Cromwell-Wright High School (contact Lori Wester)

- Friday, Oct. 26, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Carlton High School (contact Barb Soukkala)

Donating blood – the ultimate renewable resource – is safe and convenient when you are in good health, 17 years of age or older (16 with written parental consent form found at www.MBC.org), free of antibiotics for 24 hours (unless taken daily for skin condition), and symptom-free for at least three days following a cold or flu. For female donors age 16-18, there are specific height and weight restrictions.
