To the Editor-Why are political signs OK, but garage sale signs are not?
To the Editor:
What is the logic behind the city of Cloquet not allowing “Garage/Yard or Rummage Sale signs” in and around our local community when there are literally hundreds of political lawn signs everywhere? I counted a dozen political lawn signs up and around the Pine Tree Plaza area alone which, in my opinion, is beyond overkill. I have to believe most folks in our community are responsible enough to gather up their “sale signs” when their sale is over. In all fairness I think the city ought to rethink their stance on this and come up with some sort of equitable solution or at the very least designate specific areas for all lawn signs.
