Thomas Lloyd Olson

Thomas L. Olson, 60, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at his home. He was born Feb. 27, 1952, in Cloquet to Lloyd and Myrtle (Francis) Olson and graduated from Cloquet High School in 1970. Tom loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and worked as a bus driver for Arrowhead Transit.

Thomas L. Olson, 60, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at his home. He was born Feb. 27, 1952, in Cloquet to Lloyd and Myrtle (Francis) Olson and graduated from Cloquet High School in 1970. Tom loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and worked as a bus driver for Arrowhead Transit.

Tom was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Chris Olson; and one grandson, Samuel Olson.

He is survived by his significant other, Julie; his mother, Myrtle Olson; two sons, Shad (Jennifer) Olson and Kasey (Jaime) Olson; one sister, Anne (Denis) Sauter; six grandchildren, Emily, Peter, Chloe, Patrick, Shawn and Kenley; a special cousin, David Olson; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service at Nelson Funeral Care, 1004 Cloquet Ave., Cloquet, followed by a luncheon in the fellowship room.
