Residents, businesses invited to Barnum disaster center through Aug. 29

A Disaster Loan Center in Barnum is now open for all residents affected by the Northland floods in June.

The center has representatives from the U. S. Small Business Administration, the state of Minnesota and the Long Term Recovery Committee. Residents who want to get help from any of those groups have a one-stop shop to start the paperwork through Wednesday, Aug. 29.

The center is located at the Barnum Community Center, 3753 Front St., and is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and next Monday through Wednesday. It will also be open at Barnum High School on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
