SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

THURSDAY, AUGUST 2, 2012

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chair Julianne Emerson. Bennett, Johnson, Hagenah, Gibson, Walton, Haapala and Emerson were present.

Motion by Hagenah seconded by Gibson to approve agenda with addition of 'Interim' to Elementary Principal position title. Motion carried 6-0.

Motion made by Johnson seconded by Bennett to hire Jen Larva as Interim South Terrace Elementary Principal for 2012-2013 at a salary of $68,000. Motion carried 6-0.

Discussion was held regarding graphics for gym floor and work for hazard mitigation.

Motion to adjourn by Johnson seconded by Bennett to adjourn at 5:50 p.m. Motion carried 6-0.
