CITY OF CARLTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

APPLICATION FOR A VARIANCE FROM THE CITY ZONING ORDINANCE

The Planning Commission of the City of Carlton will hold a Public Hearing at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers of the Carlton Civic Center, located at 310 Chestnut Avenue, Carlton, MN 55718.

The purpose of this Hearing to allow public input in response to an application for a Variance to the City's Zoning Ordinance for the nonconforming use of property in a C-2 Highway Commercial Zoned District located at 515 3rd Street, Carlton, MN 55718.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION

East Sixty (60) feet of Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3) and Four (4)

in Block Seven (7) Woodland Park Addition to the Village of Carlton

according to the Plat thereof on file and of record in the Office of the

Register of Deeds in and for Carlton County, Minnesota.

All interested parties are invited and encouraged to attend the hearing, where information will be supplied and the public will be given the opportunity to ask questions and make statements regarding this application.
