Fond du Lac planning director named to Northland Board of Trustees
Jason Hollinday, director of planning for the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, has been named one of two new members of the Northland Foundation Board of Trustees.
Hollinday has been director of planning for the reservation since 2006. He spent the previous 11 years as economic development planner with the Band.
Among his current responsibilities are program management, grant writing, and project development including the USDA Rural Development BTOP and the Fond du Lac Broadband Project.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth in geography and urban and regional studies and a minor in history. He is chairman of the Fond du Lac Reservation Redevelopment Board and Fond du Lac Reservation representative with the Minnesota Department of Transportation – Area Transportation Partnership. Past board service includes the USDA Farm Service Agency Board, Carlton County Community-based Comprehensive Plan – Joint Powers Board, and the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission.
The other new board member is Lisa Bodine, regional sales director for Involta.
The 2012-13 officers of the Northland Foundation Board are chair: Dave Clusiau, co-owner, Hibbing Chrysler Center; vice chair: Jeff Corey, executive director One Roof Community Housing; and secretary/treasurer: Diane Rauschenfels, coordinator for the Educational Administration Program, University of Minnesota Duluth.
