Northwoods Credit Union expands with new office, new hours

Northwoods Credit Union has announced the expansion of their business with a new branch in Cloquet, as well as the addition of Saturday drive-up hours at their new office.

Northwoods Credit Union has a long history in Carlton County. Their new office on Stanley Avenue will provide more visibility to the community as well as easier accessibility for their members.

“We saw a need and an opportunity to bring Northwoods Credit Union to a very convenient location for our members,” said President Barb Brown. “With our new branch, we’ll be able to provide our members more of the personal member service Northwoods Credit Union is known for.”

Northwoods Credit Union started in 1936 as the Northwest Paper Employees Credit Union but now serves those who live, work, worship, attend school or volunteer in Carlton County or Pine County.

Northwoods Credit Union’s new branch is located at 902 Stanley Ave., Cloquet. Northwoods Credit Union will also maintain their current office at 1702 Avenue B, Cloquet.
