Members Cooperative Credit Union announces they will partner with local Salvation Army branches and community groups for a “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive.
MCCU will be collecting new school supplies for area students. The items will be distributed by the Salvation Army to area families who need assistance acquiring supplies for the 2012-13 school year.
“This summer has been a challenging one for a lot of families in our region,” stated Ryanne Battaglia, vice president of business development for MCCU. “It makes it all the more important that we ensure all children are heading back to school with basic supplies.”
The supply drive will run until Monday, Aug. 20.
School supplies can be donated at MCCU’s Cloquet branch at 101 14th St., Cloquet.
