Letter: Sundin’s your best choice for State House 11A

To the Editor:

Voters in the newly formed State House District 11A have an opportunity to send one of the most informed, dedicated, and hardworking representatives they can find to work for them in St. Paul by getting out to vote for Mike Sundin in the DFL primary election on Aug. 14.

We’ve known Mike for years and it’s very clear that what motivates him is a passionate desire to make politics work to improve people’s lives. With Mike, it’s not about who he can be, or who he can be seen with, it’s about what he can do in the true spirit of public service. He has demonstrated that for years with his tireless work on issues and for campaigns.

We think there’s more to the job of serving in the state legislature than just making sure you get a fair share for your area, your schools, your city or county. You also have city and county governments and school boards for that. A legislator must also be there to work with 200 others, who come together to work to see that the state does the best it can for all Minnesotans. You want someone to do that job who believes that government should work to serve people’s needs. Mike is that candidate.
