Cloquet U11 AA boys win 2012 State Championship

The U11 AA Cloquet boys baseball team played undefeated to the championship game Sunday, July 22, in Bloomington, Minn., taking the Minnesota trophy home to Cloquet. Despite the heat, humidity and injuries, the boys of summer played solid. They rallied in the second game to come back from a 10-run deficit to win 15-14. This impressive come-back spurred Cloquet to win their next five games and capture the state title.
Coached by John Benson and Bruce Baker, the boys displayed excellent sportsmanship and teamwork, and represented Cloquet well.
