Sophie E. (Polo) Parenteau, 102, of Carlton, Minn., left us peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Inter-Faith Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie, four brothers and three sisters.

Sophie is survived by her sisters, Esther Aho of Cloquet, Minn., and Arlene Fogle of Graham, Wash.

Services will be held Friday, Aug. 17, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Carlton with a visitation from 10 a.m. until the 11 memorial service.
