SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

JULY 9, 2012

The Board of Education of Independent School District 93, Carlton, Minnesota, met in special session on Monday, July 9, 2012. Emerson called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. Members present: Walton, Johnson, Hagenah, Gibson, Emerson, and Bennett with Superintendent Haapala, ex officio, and Eiffler, Business Manager.

Johnson made motion to approve meeting agenda. Bennett seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

After lengthy discussion and recommendation from Head Custodian Kirk Johnson, Walton made motion to approve the bid from FLR Sanders to replace the High School gymnasium floor with options for power vent air flow system and to restore the original graphics and existing enhancements. Johnson supported the motion and the board approved 6-0.

Bennett made motion to adjourn with support from Johnson. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:06 p.m. with a unanimous vote.
