Free moisture meters available to rent

Carlton County Extension is making four electronic moisture meters available, free of charge, for citizens impacted by recent rain and flooding.

Carlton County Extension is making four electronic moisture meters available, free of charge, for citizens impacted by recent rain and flooding. These meters will measure moisture levels in wood, drywall, carpet, etc. Directions for use are included with the meters.

Instructions for floodwater cleanup are available at the Carlton County Extension Office or on University of Minnesota Extension’s website: www.extension.umn.edu/extreme-weather/flood-water/.

For future reservations of a moisture meter, call 218-384-3511 during business hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. A deposit will be required when the meters are taken but the deposit will be returned when the meter is returned.
