Movie matinee slated for CCHS Museum

The Carlton County Historical Society's next monthly Movie Matinee, held on the last Saturday of the month, will be on Saturday, June 30 at 1 p.m. at its museum at 406 Cloquet Avenue in Cloquet.

Attendees will view two films from the CCHS collection. Both movies are black and white 16 millimeter films with sound. The first shorter movie is called "Fiddle De Dee" and includes the great adventures of the Three Little Bruins. The second longer film is called "Caged Fury", the story of a killer lion. Both movies will be shown on a screen using a vintage projector.

Popcorn and punch will be served and a door prize drawing will be held during intermission. Admission to the museum is $1 with children under 12 and CCHS members admitted at no charge. Bring your friends and relatives! For questions call the CCHS at 218-879-1938.
