Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon to visit Scanlon today at 12:40 p.m.

Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Yvonne Prettner Solon will pay a visit to the community of Scanlon today,Tuesday, June 26, at 12:40 p.m. to assess the flood damage and meet with residents.

Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Yvonne Prettner Solon will pay a visit to the community of Scanlon today,Tuesday, June 26, at 12:40 p.m. to assess the flood damage and meet with residents. Her visit will begin at the Scanlon Community Center, 2801 Dewey Avenue, and is expected to last about an hour.

On Thursday, June 28, staff from the office of U.S. Representative Chip Cravaack will set up a mobile office at the Community Center from 1-111:30 a.m.

“These mobile offices will provide residents throughout the Eighth District an opportunity to meet with members of my staff and discuss matters that are important to them,” said Cravaack. "Mobile offices help us maintain close and essential contact with the people we serve. If the good people of the Eighth District cannot come to us, we will come to them. It is my privilege to have provided my constituents access to over 260 mobile offices since June 2011.”
