AGE to age Summer Reading Program seeks participants

Adults, are you looking for a meaningful way to serve your community? The Cloquet Community Education AGE to age Summer Reading Program is looking for both students and volunteers to participate. This program will connect adults with young children in Kindergarten through fifth grade to maintain and enrich their reading skills.

The Age to age program is designed to develop relationships between young people and adults. People over age 55 are especially encouraged to volunteer. Cookies and beverages are needed as well.

The program takes place at the Washington Elementary School library through Aug. 28. Participants may attend on Mondays or Tuesdays at either 10-10:45 a.m. or 10:45-11:30 a.m.

Call 218-879-1261 if you are interested in participating in this program.
