To the editor: Graduation party organizers send thanks

To the Editor:

The Cloquet All Night Graduation Committee would like to thank all those who helped make this year’s celebration a huge success! There were only eight seniors who did not attend this chemical-free party to honor all of the hard work the class of 2012 has done to reach this milestone in their lives.

We would especially like to thank the Cloquet Educational Foundation for their generous gift of $1,000, as well as the MANY area businesses and individuals who donated to make this event possible. Each year we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our community. Every senior walked away with a T-shirt, a prize, and memories that will never be forgotten. Thank you, also, to the Class of 2012 for their outstanding contribution to their own party and for participating with so much enthusiasm.

The committee would also like to thank the almost 100 volunteers, many of whom were there until 4 a.m. Without this help, the celebration would not take place. Please know how very much you are appreciated. Lastly, special thanks to Committee Chairs Stacy Peterson (prizes), Joe Beaupre (entertainment), Rose Scheuer and Robin Anderson (food), Iris Keller (decorations), and Nora and Steve Rosemore (security), as well as Paula Matthews and Pam Schimenek for the endless record-keeping, and Keith Marti and crew for helping with set-up and clean-up.
