To the Editor:

We would like to sincerely thank all area residents for contributing to our annual poppy program. All donations are spent only for veterans. The poppies themselves are also handmade by veterans. As an example of use of our proceeds, we recently gave $500 towards the homecoming for our local veterans when they arrived at the Cloquet Armory after duty in Kuwait.
