CCHS plans membership meeting, program
The Carlton County Historical Society (CCHS) will hold its quarterly membership meeting and program at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Fires of 1918 Museum, 900 Folz Blvd., Moose Lake.
The Carlton County Historical Society (CCHS) will hold its quarterly membership meeting and program at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Fires of 1918 Museum, 900 Folz Blvd., Moose Lake.
The CCHS membership meeting is open to the public to bring awareness about and encourage membership in the Carlton County Historical Society. This year the CCHS membership meetings are being held throughout Carlton County.
The membership meeting program begins with representatives of the Moose Lake Area Historical Society discussing their recent projects and events, followed by a brief tour of the Fires of 1918 Museum. Then Rachael Martin, executive director of the Carlton County Historical Society, will show a short slide show about “What’s New at the CCHS.” Refreshments will be served.
Admission is $2 with Moose Lake Area Historical Society members and CCHS members admitted at no charge. For questions call the CCHS at 218-879-1938.
